Famous Hispanic person project:

Learning Targets:

1.  discover Hispanic people who have an influence on our country, our society, and our community

2.  incorporate technology (prezi presentation) to put pictures and music to your voice/script --- www.prezi.com

Task:

Look at several Hispanic persons. Choose a famous Hispanic person and  Research specific information about the person and create a presentation/podcast that you will show to the class and give information/teach us about the person.

Requirements:/ Evaluation:    What do you need to do and how will you be graded on this project?

1. Prezi : Presentation on famous Hispanic person what should be in your prezi?

· Include fotos / videos / visuals that represent the famous Hispanic from birth – present /death SHOW US about the person in all stages of life/career

· include the following information to have a complete report/presentation:

Complete name

date and place of birth (and death, if applicable)

family background

influences upon his/her achievements

education

personal and professional accomplishments

why the person is famous:  be thorough :  what we should know about this person and his/her fame/popularity

Basically, a comprehensive biography about the person

How the person became famous :  life before, during, and after success

You will be teaching the class all about this person and letting us know all about him/her...
